In Spain, Carlos’s mother asks him to represent them at an family wedding in New Jersey. He gladly accepts the invitation but with a mischievous plan in mind: He’ll convince his good friend Gonzalo to take his place at the family wedding, so that he can secretly visit his long-time love interest. A series of coincidences will turn into major complications when the two find friends themselves falling in love with the bride-to-be and the mistress of the groom.
